Stefano Santambrogio – Brand History
The Santambrogio name is deeply rooted in the history of Italian pipes: it was Carlo Santambrogio who, in the 1920s, founded one of the first pipe factories in Italy in Cantù (CO). The business was later passed to Gino and, later, to Stefano Santambrogio, a member of the third generation.
In the 1990s and 2000s, Stefano revived artisanal production, personally signing "handmade" pipes, often with rusticated or flamed finishes, using high-quality bruyères. His production remains limited and mostly niche, sold through direct channels or select stores.
